Choose Joy!

Friday, May 1, 2015

Today, I am featuring JoyBound Apparel! They are a lifestyle company that not only offers chic and comfortable clothing, but most importantly encourages its wearers to find joy in everything they do. One dollar from every purchase goes to The Children's Dream Fund, a small yet an amazing way to bring joy to seriously ill children. It makes me all warm inside, whenever I  know that a company takes a portion of their proceeds to charity.

I got together with Sandy a while ago (still pregnant) ha, and we wanted to give some tips on how to spread joy over social media. Make sure to visit her blog to see more pictures of her outfit and to read her tips.

This is the Sucre clutch, a handmade product made by a Bolivian native. I absolutely fell in love with it, and wear it quite often.

 1. Leaving comments!
Comments are like compliments, spread the love people :)!
Whenever someone comments on my blogpost or on other social media channels, it really puts a smile on my face. I also make sure to read every comment.

2. Build a relationship with your followers!
When other people take time to comment or follow you, make sure you answer/connect with them. I for sure need to become better at that. Not only will they feel special, but I also think it'll help to build a relationship with others. I have gotten to know such amazing people through social media.

 3. Be kind- what goes around comes around!

I truly believe this! Be kind, ALWAYS! I couldn't echo this enough, being kind to everyone is the secret weapon to friendship. Other people will see your kindness, admire it, and not have a problem in being kind back.

I hope you all have a great weekend, today choose to find JOY in all things!

Spring style with Pink Blush: Maxi Dress

Friday, April 3, 2015

  Photo Cred: Diana Putnam

I am absolutely in love with these beautiful colors! For our second look, we chose to show off these maxi dresses. They are perfect for spring, for an Easter outfit or any other occasion this upcoming spring/summer. Sandy (Sandy a la mode) and Cecilia (Dearest Lou) chose their dresses from the women's line and they both look stunning. Check out their blog to see more pictures and how they styled their maxi dresses.
The dress Autumn and I are wearing, is the chiffon color-block maternity dress. It just went back in stock, so hurry up and get yours now before they sell out again!  I absolutely love this dress, it is breezy, light (perfect in this warm weather) and just so pretty.

Besides these beautiful girls and dresses, I am excited for Easter, eggs hunts and just spending quality time with family watching general conference!
Do you have anything fun planned for Easter?

Hoppy Friday!

Sunshine in February!

Wednesday, February 4, 2015

Wow, is this real life? This week has been absolutely beautiful! We have been at the park for hours and Noah has loved every minute of it. This weather feels like heaven, so we are taking full advantage of it. I am collaborating with my favorite maternity company Pink Blush again and showing a spring look in February. I absolutely love this jacket, it is perfect, light and fashionable along with these jeans. If you're pregnant and stubborn like I was, refusing to wear maternity pants...think again! I PROMISE they are so comfortable, and I don't blame women wearing them after they're pregnant. How could you not!?
Anyways, I hope you guys are having a great week so far!

Isn't this hood amazing?? I'm obsessed :)

Happy Friday to you all!
Usually I'm thrilled when the weekend hits, but I've been feeling a little sick. Hopefully this stupid congestion goes away asap. Thank heavens for friends that keep you company. Cecilia and I have been hanging out quite a bit lately. She is honestly one of the most genuine people I have ever met. Lucky for me, we live 5 minutes away from each other :) Noah loves playing with Z, which makes it even more fun, because they play so well together.
Last week we went to the children's museum and she wore a shirt from Pink Blush. I recognized it right away because I had the same one, but "maternity" style! This shirt is so comfortable, and I have worn mine a lot. One of the many great things with pink blush clothing is how affordable it is, but also how stylish. They have clothes for everyone. They always have deals going on, so be on the look out! Right now, they are offering 30% off until Monday. Both their maternity and non-maternity options are absolutely darling, and thanks to them I still look fashionable even though I'm getting fat ;)

Where my target people at!?

Tuesday, January 6, 2015

This is me, freezing my butt off!!

Let's talk about TARGET for a minute! Who doesn't love that store?
I am obsessed, and I can never leave the store empty handed. There's something with that store that makes me buy things I absolutely don't need, happens every time. Although, somedays I do score some great finds! I swear there's like a target mom club, were every stay-at-home mom goes in the morning and spends a lot of time/money before nap time. Believe it or not, I have made a couple friends at target haha :)

I have had lots of people ask me how I dress non-maternity clothes! Here is one example, its really suppose to be a dress but I wear it as a tunic paired with my velvet pants I also got from target. I really fell in love with the design, the long sleeves and the color. You can definitely dress it up, or down. This is more of a casual look and my Jacket was a gift from my MIL :)

Maternity wise, I bought my nursing bra and sport bra there and I absolutely love them. If you aren't a target fan yet, means you don't go often enough ;)

2015-Here's to new adventures!

Saturday, January 3, 2015

I cannot believe how fast 2014 went! I am so excited for this year, and for some new adventures. We have so many fun things to look forward to, and I cannot wait to see what lies ahead.
I have decided this year, I want to live in the now. I want to be present, watch Noah grow, love harder, forgive faster, laugh really loud, pray more, and choose to be happy.
I truly feel so blessed, looking at my life, with my husband and my child. I wouldn't change anything, except maybe living in a bigger house haha :)

I got together with the Bridgette, who is also a fashion blogger (check out her blog here http://www.bridgettestyle.com) and took some pictures. She is just the sweetest, and oh so pretty! Remember how I have nagged you guys about the awesome Pinkblush Maternity and their clothing? I will do so again, because these pants are that comfortable! I love them, and I love how fashionable they are. I only wear skinny jeans, so these are a match made in heaven. They are paired with a top I got from H&M. I am obsessed with the birds on it, and I absolutely love the design. I am not a tight shirt kind of girl, so this was perfect and it's not a maternity shirt.
The shoes are from Nordstrom rack :)

Hope you guys have an amazing weekend!

Mother and son date- featuring Boohoo & LUA!

Friday, December 5, 2014

Noah won a competition and got this "fresh" sweater from Little urban apparel, and we absolutely love it. We are also featuring one of our favorite beanies from Little ark check her stuff out :)

Getting excited to go see the dinosaurs :)

He's a happy camper even after a bad fall!

I sure love this little man.
I am featuring this lovely dress from Boohoo, you know my obsession with stripes. It is the perfect dress! Absolutely comfortable, perfect length, and it was super affordable.

Lately, I have been thinking about how I only have a couple more months of just "me and noah time". Noah and I always have activities planned for the day. Soon, I will be carrying around a carseat along with my toddler.
Exciting times lie ahead, but in the meantime, I am going to enjoy every single day with my little guy.
Today, we went to the dinosaur museum on BYU's campus and he absolutely loved it. I wish, I took a video while we were in there. He went around 4 times and said bye-bye to every statue in there. Hahaha he was making all the workers laugh.
We then went and played at the park and he was having such a good time until he fell and got a little nose bleed :( It seriously broke my heart. I was pretty proud of myself as I didn't even panic.
We cleaned him up, I got blood all over me, we got chic-fil-a and then enjoyed the sunshine.
All is well, hope you guys have a great weekend!
