What you do matters, somewhere- Closca Bottle

Keeping hydrated while saving the planet.

If you know me, you know I'm a big believer in the importance of drinking water, and living in the mid-west definitely requires you to stay hydrated!  Carrying bottles in my hands can be difficult because I've got toddlers to hold and some of my bags don't have extra pockets for them.
That's why I was totally thrilled when I found out about the Closca bottle, because it is beautifully designed for every lifestyle. They just launched their kickstarter h e r e , and have already got over 495 backer in less than a week!!
The first thing I love about this reusable water bottle is that with its handy strap, I can attach it to my bag or stroller very easily. Not only is the design sleek and innovative, but they also have a Closca Water app that will help you locate where to get refills for free
Each bottle is made with something called borosilicate glass, which makes it very durable and 100% BPA free. Another feature that I love is that there are two openings, which makes it easy to clean and allows me to fill it up with ice, fruit or whatever you'd like!

Closca's goal is to educate and inspire others to build a healthier planet by reducing the amount of plastic that ends up in landfills and oceans. I love eco-friendly products like this that make my life a little easier, so be sure to check out the Closca Bottle!

Plum & Sparrow- Moses basket

Monday, October 26, 2015

Crown:flowercrown, Bracelets: June and Penny

Is my girl really 6-months old? How did that even happen? I am seriously in aw, and cannot believe that she has already been apart of our family for that long. When we had Noah, I was really good about taking pictures and documenting his life, specially his first year of life! I am happy to say that I have been pretty good at documenting Olivia's life so far as well. These kiddos are going to have a lot of pictures to choose from for their wedding videos haha.
Shifting gears a little, but I have met some incredible people through social media. Dianna is one of them, she's a mother of 4 and such an inspiration. She states, "with the birth of our 4th child (and only girl) Lanie, I was given a Moses Basket. To be honest, I was beyond excited and never imagined how much I'd fall in love with it. I fell in love with the sheer simplicity of it and the closeness and security I felt in being able to have her with me and our little family, sleeping or not, no matter where we were in the house. I have noticed that my love for the simplicity in things has grown with the birth of each child. I have found myself seeking out things to bring motherhood and parenting back to basics. I loved her Moses Basket so much that I knew I wanted to share this little gem with other mamas. So the hunt began to find something unique, beautiful and one of a kind.....and that is how Plum + Sparrow was born".
I use my Moses Basket all the time, it is perfect from newborn stage up until you child gets too mobile. Whether to free my hands for a short moment, or put my baby down for a nap, this Moses Basket does the job. This stunning basket is the perfect item for you mamas. Once Olivia is too big I will probably store her blankets in there. This basket is more than adorable, as well as stylish. It is lightweight, has easy to grab handles, plenty of space and it comes with a mattress and fitted sheet. She has a wide variety of beautiful colors and patterns. Dianna often sells out of her baskets as soon as she releases them. Yes, they're that amazing! Make sure to check out her website here and check them out for yourself! She also sells beautiful market baskets!
If you follow me on instagram, I am giving away $50 that you can use towards your own moses basket!!!
