Moto jeggings- maternity style!

Monday, September 26, 2016

You guys, we are in the last trimester and things just got real! This pregnancy has actually flown by and I can't believe we are in the last stretch. I am trying to soak in everything about this pregnancy, because I am pretty sure this is our last.
I truly feel so lucky to have had a fairly easy pregnancy so far. My back has been hurting more than before, but besides that its been smooth. I am still trying to wrap my mind around the fact that we are about to have another baby. I am going to have three kids, 3 and under!!!!!! Ready or not, here he comes!
December is basically around the corner and I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little nervous. But I am just as excited to meet and snuggle our little man. What is he going to look like? Will he have blue eyes (pretty please), will he look like his siblings? I mean so many questions, and I cannot wait to meet him. People keep asking me if we have a name yet, the answer and no!
Help us out if you have any suggestions :)

28 weeks pregnant here :)

Let's talk about these moto jeggings for a minute. These specific ones are from Preggo Leggings, and I absolutely love them. I haven't been wearing maternity pants yet because I live in the desert, and its too hot to wear pants. Dresses or workout clothes have been my go-to attire. The hype is real, these moto jeggings are just as amazing as people say they are. You need everything comfortable when you're pregnant, and I promise these will not disappoint.

Happy Monday Friends

Bumpin in Lularoe

Tuesday, July 19, 2016

All the hype about Lularoe is completely true. It is amazing, the quality really is that great and if you don't own anything you are missing out! Huge thank you to Alex Crosby for making us look fab! You probably have at least 5 friends that's selling lularoe, or a friend's friend! Either way, Lularoe is the bees-neez!!
Cecilia and I are both wearing the Amelia dresses!
 Happy Happy friday friends!

Summer body- Swimsuits

Forget about size and weight,
just make sure you do good things for your mind and body daily.

It is no secret that stripes and floral is my favorite combo. My friend Kristi over at June Loop Swimwear hand makes the most amazing swimsuits. She has endless amounts of combinations for you and your daughters. O and I both own several of her pieces and they are very well made. I love this
"sportbra" style, because I can hide my tan line and because its different from the usual styles.
Make sure to check out the swimsuits, they sell out quickly!!

My dear friend Jacquie over at Jaykaiy, custom made this suit for me. Initially it wasn't made to be a maternity suit but it totally works as one. When she took my measurements we had no idea there was a human growing inside me. I have had multiple people ask about this suit, and she doesn't have them up on her site because it was a custom made suit. I would highly encourage you to contact her if you want a customized one. You will not regret it, I promise!

Whether you are pregnant or not, I hope you feel beautiful in whatever swimsuit you wear. I tried this  swimsuit from Albion Fit and I about died. It isn't a maternity suit, but it has belly "fringe" and totally works. I would size up so you could wear it your whole pregnancy or just get your regular size and wear it until you think there isn't any more room. I absolutely love the floral design and the one-shoulder style. I own many suits from Albion, and they never disappoint. I love their unique styles, and every year they come up with more amazing prints!

Bumpin' it in Pink Blush!

Thursday, July 14, 2016

It is no secret that we love Pink Blush Maternity. Last month Cecilia came and visited and we had a blast. It is so fun to be pregnant at the same time, so obviously we had to do some shoots. How cute are these floral dresses? My favorite part with their clothing is how they work in every stage of your pregnancy but also post-baby. They are so comfortable and super affordable, plus they always have good deals going on!
If you are pregnant and don't know where to get some cute maternity clothes, you are welcome :)

***We are hosting a giveaway on Instagram were you and your bestie can win $50 to Pinkblush/Pink blush Maternity :)

Spring style with Pink Blush: Dainty dresses + giveaway

Tuesday, April 7, 2015

For our third and last look, we are featuring some fun and springy dresses from Pink Blush and Pink Blush Maternity.  These dresses are so flattering and can easily be dressed up or down in sandals/flats.

Autumn and I are both wearing the same dress in different colors. This dress is my favorite. It is light, flattering, and has the cutest paisley print. It also comes with a braided belt, which makes your baby bump stand out. Unfortunately, this dress is currently sold out, but be on the look out because it may get re-stocked soon.

Sandy and Cecilia are both wearing dresses from the women's line, and how cute are they? I love how they styled their dresses with hats (I wish I could pull that off). Check out their blogs for more pictures.

A huge shout out to Pink Blush for sponsoring us, and providing such beautiful clothing. They truly saved my pregnancy (clothing wise) and have been so fun to work with.  As my pregnancy is coming to an end, I am excited to wear non-maternity again and to sport clothing from their women's line. Also, a huge thank you to Diana Putnam for taking our pictures. It was my first time shooting with her, and she did such an amazing job.

Before you leave, head over to my instagram @Lesdedrickson and enter our giveaway! You and a friend can win $75 to either of the two shops.

Beeee-autiful featuring mu's bags!

Tuesday, March 31, 2015

I have been in contact with mu's bags for a long time, and I have been waiting for a special bag just for me. All their products are handmade in Guatemala, how amazing is that? Hearing about these ladies, who make these products as a living, made me fall in love even more. Check out their site, I promise you will not be disappointed.  They have everything from diaper bags to hand-clutches. They are so unique, very fashionable and I absolutely love the bright colors that mine has. The one I own is sadly sold out, but they have lots of different designs, colors and sizes. This version is the medium bag.

How amazing is this weather right now? Is it April yet?? Is it just me, or has this month been the longest month ever? Although the month has been long, we have been loving the beautiful weather.  I was over at Cecilia's the other day and she showed me this beee-autiful top. It didn't fit her so I immediately put it on, and it was love at first wear! I couldn't say no to such a cute top, so I obviously kept it.  It's not a maternity top, but it totally works with this big bump of mine.  Speaking of this bump, it is kind of crazy to think that I will only have it for a couple more weeks! I am excited to be able to function normally again :)

Wishing y'all a happy Tuesday <3

It has been a while since I blogged, but don't worry we are still alive :)
First off, our lives are getting more and more crazy... and it won't stop until baby girl comes! Can you believe we only have 6 more weeks, (hopefully a little less) until we get to meet our girl? As fast as I think this pregnancy has gone, ever since I hit 30 weeks, I feel like it has been going in slow-motion. Not only that, my belly or maybe I should say our baby grew real FAST!!! At my last appointment, my doctor looked and me and said "well, I'm glad baby is doing well and growing".  I went home and looked at myself in the mirror thinking, "I am huge." I look like I am about to pop.  On top of that, I don't feel very pretty these days. I am trying to have a positive attitude about it all, because I know that in the future I am going to miss being pregnant. I'm not going to miss being uncomfortable, out of breath, or not being able to tie my own shoes though :) Despite my exhaustion, taking care of a toddler, and trying to be a wifey, I am trying to enjoy these last weeks. Some days can be harder than others.  Watching Noah grow makes me real excited for our little girl! I can do this, I can do this!
I hope you guys have a great week, and if you have any tips on what I should prepare for with two kids, feel free to share :)

Sunshine in February!

Wednesday, February 4, 2015

Wow, is this real life? This week has been absolutely beautiful! We have been at the park for hours and Noah has loved every minute of it. This weather feels like heaven, so we are taking full advantage of it. I am collaborating with my favorite maternity company Pink Blush again and showing a spring look in February. I absolutely love this jacket, it is perfect, light and fashionable along with these jeans. If you're pregnant and stubborn like I was, refusing to wear maternity pants...think again! I PROMISE they are so comfortable, and I don't blame women wearing them after they're pregnant. How could you not!?
Anyways, I hope you guys are having a great week so far!
xoxo

Isn't this hood amazing?? I'm obsessed :)
