Wooden Watch- His and Hers

Tuesday, June 9, 2015

I have taken a little break from blogging, due to us moving and settling down. Now that things have calmed down, I've got  lots of fun reviews and giveaways coming your way.

For today's look, Ben and I are featuring these awesome watches from JORD .

Ben has always talked about getting a wooden watch for the longest time. He loves the structure and the grain of various woods.  We were finally introduced to the JORD family after a long time of looking, and we knew right away we wanted to each get a pair.  I knew it was a good decision because of how much Ben actually wore it.  He usually doesn't wear watches, but now its a frequent occurrence with his Delmar White. We decided to do a "His & Hers" look, to show two different ways it could be worn. We wanted to get watches that matched but that were still different styles. I absolutely love the simplicity yet classy looks of JORD watches.  A watch is that perfect accessory for an outfit.  You can always dress them up or down.  Either way, your watch will stand out, especially a JORD collection.
When ordering online, you can customize your watch to make sure you get the perfect fit for your wrist. They will also send extra links just in case, which is so great and helpful. They have an amazing range of watches for both men and women, which are not only unique but very fashionable.

If you're like me, and find it so hard to get your father or husband a present. This watch will make a great Father's Day gift, so make sure to check them out Here and get them by that special day. To purchase my watch go here .

Spring style with Pink Blush: Dainty dresses + giveaway

Tuesday, April 7, 2015

For our third and last look, we are featuring some fun and springy dresses from Pink Blush and Pink Blush Maternity.  These dresses are so flattering and can easily be dressed up or down in sandals/flats.

Autumn and I are both wearing the same dress in different colors. This dress is my favorite. It is light, flattering, and has the cutest paisley print. It also comes with a braided belt, which makes your baby bump stand out. Unfortunately, this dress is currently sold out, but be on the look out because it may get re-stocked soon.

Sandy and Cecilia are both wearing dresses from the women's line, and how cute are they? I love how they styled their dresses with hats (I wish I could pull that off). Check out their blogs for more pictures.

A huge shout out to Pink Blush for sponsoring us, and providing such beautiful clothing. They truly saved my pregnancy (clothing wise) and have been so fun to work with.  As my pregnancy is coming to an end, I am excited to wear non-maternity again and to sport clothing from their women's line. Also, a huge thank you to Diana Putnam for taking our pictures. It was my first time shooting with her, and she did such an amazing job.

Before you leave, head over to my instagram @Lesdedrickson and enter our giveaway! You and a friend can win $75 to either of the two shops.

It has been a while since I blogged, but don't worry we are still alive :)
First off, our lives are getting more and more crazy... and it won't stop until baby girl comes! Can you believe we only have 6 more weeks, (hopefully a little less) until we get to meet our girl? As fast as I think this pregnancy has gone, ever since I hit 30 weeks, I feel like it has been going in slow-motion. Not only that, my belly or maybe I should say our baby grew real FAST!!! At my last appointment, my doctor looked and me and said "well, I'm glad baby is doing well and growing".  I went home and looked at myself in the mirror thinking, "I am huge." I look like I am about to pop.  On top of that, I don't feel very pretty these days. I am trying to have a positive attitude about it all, because I know that in the future I am going to miss being pregnant. I'm not going to miss being uncomfortable, out of breath, or not being able to tie my own shoes though :) Despite my exhaustion, taking care of a toddler, and trying to be a wifey, I am trying to enjoy these last weeks. Some days can be harder than others.  Watching Noah grow makes me real excited for our little girl! I can do this, I can do this!
I hope you guys have a great week, and if you have any tips on what I should prepare for with two kids, feel free to share :)

2015-Here's to new adventures!

Saturday, January 3, 2015

I cannot believe how fast 2014 went! I am so excited for this year, and for some new adventures. We have so many fun things to look forward to, and I cannot wait to see what lies ahead.
I have decided this year, I want to live in the now. I want to be present, watch Noah grow, love harder, forgive faster, laugh really loud, pray more, and choose to be happy.
I truly feel so blessed, looking at my life, with my husband and my child. I wouldn't change anything, except maybe living in a bigger house haha :)

I got together with the Bridgette, who is also a fashion blogger (check out her blog here http://www.bridgettestyle.com) and took some pictures. She is just the sweetest, and oh so pretty! Remember how I have nagged you guys about the awesome Pinkblush Maternity and their clothing? I will do so again, because these pants are that comfortable! I love them, and I love how fashionable they are. I only wear skinny jeans, so these are a match made in heaven. They are paired with a top I got from H&M. I am obsessed with the birds on it, and I absolutely love the design. I am not a tight shirt kind of girl, so this was perfect and it's not a maternity shirt.
The shoes are from Nordstrom rack :)

Hope you guys have an amazing weekend!
