I wouldn't have it any other way!

Today I have been thinking a lot about Motherhood and what it means to me. I have always been so impressed by my own mother of how strong, patient, loving, happy, energetic, and selfless she is. The list goes on and she continues to amaze me. Raising 8 children, where 6 were girls, is a hard thing to do. She always told me, "I hope you have lots of children and I hope they're all like you when you were a child... FULL OF ENERGY!" I have so many amazing examples of great mothers, my mother, my sisters, my mother and sisters in law. Basically the bar was set very high, so before I became a mother I was extremely thankful that I had so many people to look up to.
Before I became a mother, I didn't understand how such a little person could take up so much room, time and a whole lot of patience. I remember when Noah was placed on my chest like it was yesterday. It was love at first sight. Who ever thought such a little person could teach us so much? He teaches me to be more loving, patient, happy and how to be a fun mother everyday. I feel so loved and proud whenever he yells, "mom" for my attention, it is my favorite thing. I sometimes wish I could read his little mind. He is my little shadow and I love it. I love being a stay-at-home Mother and I wouldn't have it any other way. I get to watch my little boy grow, learn new things but my absolute favorite is watching Noah when daddy comes home. I am extremely grateful for such a loving and caring husband, he makes my life easier and way more fun. We long for whenever he gets home from work :)  Today, Noah has been with us for 17 months, what did we even do before he was here? I seriously cannot imagine our lives without him. Every day is an adventure. I know Im not perfect, but I do my best everyday. He picked me so now I have to do my part, I love you little one.

I can't get enough of him
