Spring style with Pink Blush: Dainty dresses + giveaway

Tuesday, April 7, 2015

For our third and last look, we are featuring some fun and springy dresses from Pink Blush and Pink Blush Maternity.  These dresses are so flattering and can easily be dressed up or down in sandals/flats.

Autumn and I are both wearing the same dress in different colors. This dress is my favorite. It is light, flattering, and has the cutest paisley print. It also comes with a braided belt, which makes your baby bump stand out. Unfortunately, this dress is currently sold out, but be on the look out because it may get re-stocked soon.

Sandy and Cecilia are both wearing dresses from the women's line, and how cute are they? I love how they styled their dresses with hats (I wish I could pull that off). Check out their blogs for more pictures.

A huge shout out to Pink Blush for sponsoring us, and providing such beautiful clothing. They truly saved my pregnancy (clothing wise) and have been so fun to work with.  As my pregnancy is coming to an end, I am excited to wear non-maternity again and to sport clothing from their women's line. Also, a huge thank you to Diana Putnam for taking our pictures. It was my first time shooting with her, and she did such an amazing job.

Before you leave, head over to my instagram @Lesdedrickson and enter our giveaway! You and a friend can win $75 to either of the two shops.

Date night outfit- by Ben

Friday, January 23, 2015

Being pregnant, somedays I just feel like nothing fits.  I sometimes feel huge and gross. The other day, I was complaining to Ben that I had nothing to wear.  He looked at me, laughed a little and told me to look in my closet again. As stubborn as I am sometimes, I proceeded to inform him that I seriously had nothing to wear. Being the patient man that he is, he picked out this outfit in 1 min and VOILA :)

Ever since we had Noah, I came to realize how important it is to have date night. I am sure most of you have heard other people say, "always set a day for date night". I totally believe in it! Although it might not happen every week, it is something I believe in. Sometimes date night involves a toddler, but I am totally okay with that. Anytime we are away from Noah, its so weird because we sit and worry, "Is he okay? Is he crying? What are they doing?" Silly parents haha. One day, I am sure we will look back and laugh at ourselves.
I hope you all have a great weekend!

Where my target people at!?

Tuesday, January 6, 2015

This is me, freezing my butt off!!

Let's talk about TARGET for a minute! Who doesn't love that store?
I am obsessed, and I can never leave the store empty handed. There's something with that store that makes me buy things I absolutely don't need, happens every time. Although, somedays I do score some great finds! I swear there's like a target mom club, were every stay-at-home mom goes in the morning and spends a lot of time/money before nap time. Believe it or not, I have made a couple friends at target haha :)

I have had lots of people ask me how I dress non-maternity clothes! Here is one example, its really suppose to be a dress but I wear it as a tunic paired with my velvet pants I also got from target. I really fell in love with the design, the long sleeves and the color. You can definitely dress it up, or down. This is more of a casual look and my Jacket was a gift from my MIL :)

Maternity wise, I bought my nursing bra and sport bra there and I absolutely love them. If you aren't a target fan yet, means you don't go often enough ;)

2015-Here's to new adventures!

Saturday, January 3, 2015

I cannot believe how fast 2014 went! I am so excited for this year, and for some new adventures. We have so many fun things to look forward to, and I cannot wait to see what lies ahead.
I have decided this year, I want to live in the now. I want to be present, watch Noah grow, love harder, forgive faster, laugh really loud, pray more, and choose to be happy.
I truly feel so blessed, looking at my life, with my husband and my child. I wouldn't change anything, except maybe living in a bigger house haha :)

I got together with the Bridgette, who is also a fashion blogger (check out her blog here http://www.bridgettestyle.com) and took some pictures. She is just the sweetest, and oh so pretty! Remember how I have nagged you guys about the awesome Pinkblush Maternity and their clothing? I will do so again, because these pants are that comfortable! I love them, and I love how fashionable they are. I only wear skinny jeans, so these are a match made in heaven. They are paired with a top I got from H&M. I am obsessed with the birds on it, and I absolutely love the design. I am not a tight shirt kind of girl, so this was perfect and it's not a maternity shirt.
The shoes are from Nordstrom rack :)

Hope you guys have an amazing weekend!
