A couple of days before Kingston was born.

I cannot believe how fast this pregnancy went by. I thought I would share some of my favorite pregnancy outfits with you. By the look of these photos, you can tell that I lived in dresses! Arizona heat is no joke, so I didn't have much of a choice haha. I also lived in leggings/yoga pants, but nobody wants to see pictures of that!
Although I love having baby K with us, there's something special about carrying a child. I kind of miss the bump, but I like being able to shave my legs with no problem ;)

Dreams do come true- featuring Jaykaiy

Sunday, June 5, 2016

He who is not courageous enough to take risks will accomplish nothing in life.
- Muhammad Ali

Are you a little shocked that I am wearing something other than black? Haha, I am too! I couldn't pass up on this beautiful color! I am in love with this maxi dress from Jaykaiy. My favorite is of course the oversized pockets, and how comfortable this dress actually is. I have worn it more than I'd like to admit, but could you blame me? It is so flattering and did I mention how comfortable it is?
Jaykaiy is a boutique who is owned by one of my best friends Jacqueline. She is one incredible friend, wife, mother, photographer and entrepreneur. She has so many talents, I look up to her so much. We grew up together in Sweden and now we are both living in the states with our families. She is a friend that I feel so blessed to have. I just wish she lived next door. It has been absolutely incredible watching her since a young age, dreaming about owning her own boutique and selling clothes. She also hand-makes baby clothes, clothes that my kids own and that I treasure. I am so proud of her for following her dreams, head over to her boutique and get shopping h e r e

Modesty with Lularoe

Sunday, February 28, 2016

You can dress attractively without being immodest. Within the Lord's guidelines, there is room for you to be lively, vibrant, and beautiful both in your dress and in your actions.
- Thomas S. Monson

Growing up, I always felt like there were a slim selection of modest but cute dresses for church. If you ask my mother, she will tell you how I rarely wore dresses. I always found myself rotating between the few "cute" outfits I had. Maybe it was because I didn't know about online shopping (which is probably a good thing), or I wasn't looking at the right places. Today, I have more dresses than I ever thought I'd have. I have so many friends that are Lularoe consultants, so do yourself a favor and find a consultant in your area. I teamed up with my friends from PennyandBoss and Savannah, and we are sharing different styles that they carry.
I'm wearing the Amelia dress, it is absolutely comfortable, comes in many different designs plus it has pockets! You can never go wrong with pockets. I was debating between this color or a floral (black and white) one, but decided that I needed to step out of my comfort zone.
Lularoe carries more than just dresses, they have darling leggings, skirts, shirts, you name it!

Twinning is winning!

You are something divine. More beautiful and glorious than you can possibly imagine.
-Dieter F. Utchdorf
I just love her so much!

PC: Instagram Husband ;)

What is happening to my little baby? How is she already 9 months and almost walking? Am I ready for this? The answer is no, but are we ever ready?
Time flies, and before I know it, I will have a 3 year old and a 1 year old :)
Anyhow, Olivia and I are totally twinning and I'm in love with this look. Our tops are made with love from Mexico. The details, the vibrant colors are so gorgeous and they are making me excited for the spring (although it already feels like spring in Arizona).
Visit Flor De Luz Shop here, and shop away!! You will not regret it!!

Be As Little Children

Tuesday, January 12, 2016

I read a post not too long ago, about not letting Satan steal our motherhood. It really got me thinking, how often do I let him do that. How easy that actually is, and how often I let him win! A simple thing such as getting frustrated at Noah, raising my voice, paying too much attention to my phone, etc.
Satan loves that, and then he is smiling real big when I am feeling down or feeling like I'm failing.
"Be as little children", this saying is so simple and so true. Although they can be hard at times, they are truly our teachers. They appreciate the simple things, they love when we play with them and interact with them. They have endless stories, and could play the same game for hours. You know what though? They will only be this little once. I want them to have memories of mom and dad playing "stinky feet" rather then us yelling at them. So friends, that motherhood is yours. A gift from God!
Today and everyday, I will remember that God loves me no matter what my house looks like. If there are piles of laundry that needs to be folded or dishes that needs to be done.

To all you mothers:
The very fact that you worry about being a good mom
means that you already are one.
- Jodi Picoult

Denim never goes out of style!! This dress is from Tara Lynn's Boutique, and I am obsessed with the details. I love the light weight material and it has pockets!!! You cannot go wrong with this dress! I got size small, and it fits perfectly! I have linked to the exact dress, hurry and get yours now!

Flor De Luz- Vintage Dress

Wednesday, January 6, 2016

We women have a lot to learn about simplifying our lives. We have to decide what is important and then move along at a pace that is comfortable for us. We have to develop the maturity to stop trying to prove something. We have to learn to be content with what we are.
- Marjorie Hinckley

I love that quote, she says it so simply and so beautifully. This is one of my big goals this year, to be content with what I am. I believe that when I'm happy, I am a better wife, mom and friend. It is so easy to get caught up in the "material world" and to compare yourself with others. Its much easier to want what others have, and forget about your own blessings.
What are some of your goals this year?

Now, lets talk about this amazing dress. It is handmade with love from Oaxaca, Mexico. I absolutely love the colors of my dress and the embroider is amazing. This is a vintage dress, that hasn't made the shop yet, so I am extra thankful! Since each piece is handmade there might be some markings, but that is what makes these pieces so beautiful and unique. Check out their website here, there are items for your whole family.

Happy Hump Day,

Taralynns Boutique pt.1- Floral Dream Hoody

Tuesday, December 29, 2015

Our task is to become our best selves.
One of God's greatest gifts to us is the joy of trying again,
for no failure ever need be final.
- Thomas S. Monson

I'm convinced that you can never have too many hoodies. I'm pretty sure every girl has at least one go-to hoody! A hoody that you throw on for early morning grocery runs, on a cooler day, or when you don't want to get dressed. They will never go out of style and will always come in handy. Even though 45 degrees feels like a blizzard, I am sectrely loving it. I love bundling up and wearing layers. Before we know it, it will be super hot again and I will be back to complaining! Tara Lynn's Boutique is owned by a Mother of three who has a passion for fashion. She started her online boutique a couple of months ago, and has been growing ever sense. They offer high quality clothing at affordable prices. When I first saw The Floral Dreams Ivory , I fell in love. First time trying it on, it sure felt like a dream, it is so comfortable. I love the "looser" fit and of course the floral print. This is definitely one top that you will be seeing me wear a lot!

Happy Taco Tuesday ;)
